Get Married in Virginia — Marriage Commissioner & Wedding Officiant
If you're anything like most of the couples I work with, you want your wedding day to feel honest and low-pressure — not overly rehearsed. Most people tell me, "I just want to get married."
I'm Wesley Rose, a legally registered Marriage Commissioner in Virginia — also commonly called a wedding officiant — based in Caroline County and conducting marriages since 2022. I've done everything from coffee-shop meet & marry's, to back-field intimate ceremonies, to sunset lake elopements. I'm not here to turn your ceremony into a spectacle; I'm here to keep it meaningful and make sure you leave that moment married and grounded.
Marriage Commissioner. Officiant. Whatever You Call It — I've Got You.
People search for this service a couple of different ways, and I answer to both:
Marriage Commissioner — the official Virginia term for what I do
Wedding Officiant — how most couples describe the role
Whatever you call it, I'm legally registered to perform your ceremony and file your license — fully custom or short and sweet, we'll get it right.
I regularly travel throughout Virginia, and ask for mileage, per diem, and lodging if needed.
